Lasers vs MBDTF

There really isn't such a big difference in them. Lupe has better lyrics while Kanye has better beats. But even the beats in MBDTF are a little too mainstream. Which is better. If lupe wasn't forced to have mainstream beats this wouldn't be a question tbh.

Not even close, Kanye's discography shits on Lupe's. I'm sorry, but it does. And it's not about the production on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy that makes it such a great album, it's the message conveyed. It's the inner workings of a musical genius while Lupe rants about how evil the government is.

Ye may have a more consistant discography but nothing in it tops F&L. Or even the cool. And lasers is very underrated while MBDTF is very overrated.

Not really.. The Cool and F&L are both FANTASTIC albums (although I prefer the latter), but MBDTF alone with the majority of Kanye's discography is genius.

His lyricism is not underrated. Wack punch lines no meaning to his lyrics. I know I shouldn't bring him up but if eminem had a line "have you have had shoes without shoestrings" he'd get murdered on here. And I said his production is overrated not sub par. He's in my top 5 producers and I'll say Ye>>>> Em as a producer. However people saying he's the best ever by far are overrating him an MBDTF isn't even his best produced album IMO.

Sorry I read your post quickly and thought you called his production sub-par lol. I don't think anyone is claiming that it's his best produced album so I wouldn't call it overrated, but it's still top notch production and Kanye West is in my top 3 producers at least.

His creativity is what brings the album to another level, though.

His creativity? In what? His production. That's what I don't get. I don't get whats so creative about his music. Especially in his lyrics.
