(it depends on a lot of factors like the genre, the original public, but I believe that sometimes, the number of sales is really important tbh)

recovery has sold approximately +4 million copies ( only in the us), so the album can have a lot of hate on this forum, a new public thinks that the album is a classic
So no one here can say that recovery isn't a classic, it's really subjective but people can say that the album is a classic as much as TES or TMMLP jsut by looking at the number of copies eminem has sold !
For the rest, it's all about opinions and different musical tastes, you need to remember that there is a world outside of this forum![]()
Of course people are going to say I'm wrong or that recovery sucks, but that doesn't mean anything
I don't think its a classic album, but for a new public ( and a LARGE public), the album is a classic...
we have to respect the artists who work so hard to release an album, we can give an opinion, but that's all, if recovery isn't a classic by the end of the decade, then we can't say that TES is a classic album, I mean, it's all about opinions

try to find a classic album with only 3 copies in the world(it depends on a lot of factors like the genre, the original public, but I believe that sometimes, the number of sales is really important tbh)

Classics aren't judged by sales, if they were then NSync's albums would be masterpieces.
(used to read ppl here who believed that recovery was shit only because a lot of people from THIS forum didn't like it )

bigray wrote:^ lol I was talking about the Nsync pop fans think Nsync has classics
