What's sad is, discriminatory or not, Kanye really was just trying to encourage people to help out because the government didn't seem to be doing enough to help as he saw it. He just said it in all the wrong ways.

Because of his inability to form a rational statement, he did the opposite and brought attention to himself rather than the victims of Katrina.

He kinda did the same thing with Taylor Swift. He was supposedly trying to give props to Beyonce, but he really just wanted the spotlight himself. The man was not raised right, that's for sure.
