8. 50 Cent, Get Rich or Die Tryin' :flutter:

I would have done the same list except for young jeezy - Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101

Such a cliche top 10, I was hoping another album would be #1, not the typical Illmatic.

I'd probably only put Black on Both Sides and The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill somewhere in the 20's.

At least they mentioned Black on Both Sides though, good call there. But yeah should be higher.

black on both sides should be much higher than grodt, happy with illmatic at #1, wish rd was higher. didn't see below the heavens on there either and that should be very high up there (unless I missed it) not bad tho

On the real though, I hate when people have such a bias towards 80's/early 90's albums as if they're better just because they came first. Like you're honestly going to tell me Paid In Full is a top ten debut album? Yeah it was influential but half of TR could write better lyrics than Rakim on that record.

Lmao yep.

I listened to some Ice T records recently that made me, absolutely CRINGE at how completely and utterly abysmal he was like, beyond bad LMFAO.

I do believe just because they were around first they get needless respect, as there were better / good writers even in those times, but some rappers who just plain suck period but happened to be around then and at a time when it was new, get put on a pedestal when, they're not skilled in the slightest. And I don't believe it's just relative, as Nas debuted very early 90s, the man is skilled.

Good to see Illmatic at number 1, but the list is still horrible. Black On Both Sides should be way higher, The Slim Shady LP should be way higher, Food & Liquor should definitely be on the list, and of course way higher, and the same goes for Lifestylez Ov Da Poor & Dangerous.

Phew, I was gonna say if Lifestyles Ov Da Poor & Dangerous was not on here, I wasnt gonna bother checking the list. Guess it sucks that its not at decent position on the list tho...
Still not checking that list though, I know there are gonna be somethings that are gonna piss me off, lol
