Old footage surfaces of west coast rapper Tyga appearing on MTV’s unreleased television show called ‘Bustas.’ Young Money artist Tyga may be a rap star these days, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t go through his fair share of struggles and embarrassments.
The Compton rapper appeared on MTV’s ‘Busta,’ a game show that was recorded all the way back in 2008, well before Tyga hit the mainstream rap scene. The footage never made its way to television, but thanks to the internet this stuff always manages to make its way to the fans.
In the video, Tyga explains that people didn’t take him seriously due to the fact that he wasn’t “hood,” and admits that he’s “not too much hard, but he’s still street,” also spitting a freestyle “It’s T-Y-G-A, they say I’m not hood because I stay in the valley…”
Tyga also goes on to say he received his rap moniker from him mother, who said he looked a lot like Tiger Woods.
