1. Eyedea is by far the greatest lyricist of all time
2. It Was Written is better than Illmatic
3. J. Cole is better than Kendrick
4. Eminem hasn't made a decent album since TES (not implying TES is decent)
5. Kid Cudi is better than 95% of rappers in the game right now
6. Ready to Die is a classic and Biggie is one of the best rappers of all time

Cool, a lot of members here don't really even consider him a top 10 dead or alive.

Don't most people view Biggie as one of the best?

7. Double albums are the dumbest thing in the world and you should just pick the best songs and release it as one album and then you drop the rest of the songs as a mixtape or something.

1. Jay-Z would have been regarded as one of the greatest artists of all time (higher than he will be) if he stayed retired after Black Album
2. Nas is a race baiter who is ridiculous for comparing himself to the slaves of 200 years ago. By calling (or attempting to call) his album NIGGER, he has further put his race down along with every time he says it.
3. Kanye is the greatest producer/overall artist making music now
4. Asher Roth is highly underrated and needs to release a goddamn album
5. A3K is gay. Just look at the Outkast covers

- Blu is imo the greatest writer ever.
- Second one might be Slug or Jay Electronica.
- Slug is the best white rapper.
- Lil B is the hardest working man in hip hop history.
- Exile is a top tier producer.
- Riff Raff has the goat hook on ''Python freestyle''.
- Rakim is a snoozefest ZzzZzZzZ, i dont give a slightest fuck about the impact he did.
- the 00's are underrated.
- takeover > ether
- mm.. food > madvaillainy

biggie is overrated, Life After Death had filler.

I can't get into A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, KRS1, really any Old School hip hop. Ice Cube's AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted is the only relatively old school hip hop that I dig

I am the biggest G Unot stan - i would put Game in my top five,

Redman's Dare Iz A Darkside is a masterpiece - seriously, listen to that album at 3 in the morning in a car with mad bass.

I love eminem's Ass Like That. that JoJo line kills me every time

1. Love The Way You Lie is an excellent song and having Rihanna on there made it so
Rollefsen wrote:2. I cannot get into any Nas no matter how hard I try.

3. Channel Orange is the best album to come out since When Life Gives You Lemons and is a classic.
Fa-Q wrote:4. Asher Roth is highly underrated and needs to release a goddamn album

5. Recovery is an average album with some excellent songs on it.
