Kanye wanted to share his distaste with being #7, there's nothing wrong with that. He's humble enough to call Em, Jay, and Wayne the best rappers, so I don't really see the problem here. He just thought he deserved to be higher on the list because of what he did in 2012.

I don't think he meant that literally. Blu isn't stupid...he just throws in to argue a little more than he should sometimes. This is hopefully just an example of hyperbole on his part.

As far as Kanye's reaction, I'm listening now. He's not bitching too bad, considering how can be sometimes. Overall, he's saying what a lot of us are saying about the list. He's spent the first half talking about how Sean should have been higher on the list.

I guess the "right" way to go about things nowadays is to take up precious time writing and recording lyrics on a small matter that could be easily handled by calling up MTV and saying, "I dropped some real hot shit this year mayun, so did Sean and he deserves to be higher too."

If you're a rapper and you dislike something, you MUST make a song about it. Gotcha.
