I'm actually gonna vote Immortal Technique. He has a super loyal following but has a really hard time reaching beyond that because people don't want to believe that what he's saying about government and politics is almost always factual. That and many are still blissfully ignorant, calling people conspiracy theorists and "truthers", instead of accepting the corruption and fighting against it.

That's because nobody wants a full album of a hook artist. That's what she is to the hiphop community. She's never actually said anything herself on any of the tracks we've heard her on. So how can you expect her to have booming sales when the audience she's been making music towards is paying attention to the actual rapper?
