Can someone put me on Z-Ro ?

Postby King Lance » Dec 1st, '13, 00:31

I saw some people talking about him as the Nate Dogg of the South so I decided to check a few songs and I really enjoyed them...but he is already sitting on 16 albums and I really don't know where to start.
Should I go chronologically so I can see for myself his growth as an artist or are there some particular albums I have to listen to first ? (his personal classics)

He's a rapper/singer

Start on his first album. If you like it, good, if you don't, oh well. Either way, move to the next album. Repeat the process until you've heard each album and decide if you like him or not.

Didn't mean it to be passive aggressive though.

Oh. I kinda just assume everything you say is passive aggressive. :shifty:

He's nothing like Nate homie... he is a very skilled rapper & a Houston legend though. He dissed 50 & Banks a few times back in the day by the way.

I can hear the Nate comparison just due to the sound of his voice.

That's a good point actually & it makes sense... He's still way too different type of an artist though. I mean Nate was one of a kind artist anyway IMO.

Z-Ro is at his best as a featured Artist, and what got me into him the first place was his hooks.

I think he is one of the southern underrated legends
