The Game
The Doctor's Advocate
Out November 7th

For the follow-up to the Game's multiplatinum 2005 debut, The Documentary, the Cali rhymer scored a dream team of collaborators: Mary J. Blige sings the hook on "Lay You Down," and Kanye West ("Wouldn't Get Far") and Scott Storch ("Strip Club") provide beats. Dr.Dre - the Game's mentor - remains a question mark, but he could still end up on the disc. Boasting that he's "the best rapper in the world," the Game promises this CD is a big step up from The Documentary. "That album was a little rough," he says. "I was young. Now my flow is more precise. This album is gonna be a classic."

Issue 1008 >>September 2006 Rolling Stone Magazine
