When to quit

Postby BlaqReaper » Sep 1st, '06, 23:16

So I'm listening to Game's One Blood and he has this line about him being 26 and some rappers being 38, implying they must be too old to rap. Now I'm curious, do you guys think there should be an age limit to rapping and if so how old?

no, there should never be an age limit to rap. as long as u can rhyme really good and can flow to a beat, i dont care if u are 100 years old...if ur good ill listen to u

no, not really. i mean it doesn't mean whether you 23 or 42 as long as you drop some nice shit and don't make yourself look like a complete idiot. but actually i can't imagine a 60 yrs old rapper, but i guess no one's that mad to do it lmao :sweating:

but i also think you have to know when to quit.. sometimes it's better to finish it than continue somethin that really isn't worth listenin to it.. so it's up to the rapper i guess.

as long as they're not trying to be young, i don't think there is a limit.

Well seen's how Em's 37 (I think) I don't think that's "old". You just gotta have talent to continue. LL too, he's got some nice songs out there. I wouldn't mind hearin somemore new ones from him.

ALl in all, if your gonna stay in the rap game, you gotta have talent and faith in yourselft to conintue.
