I gotta say they were accepted in the hip hop comunity better than EM at some point and probably if Vanilla Ice didn't come after them they would be still one of the greatest hip hop groups of all time not just for the people who know their work but most likely everybody who knows rap in geneal.

they *are* good. :8)

Hot Sauce Committee Part Two got a Metacritic rating of 83/100 and was easily one of the best releases of 2011. Charting at #2 & #9 in the US & UK, 30+ year career and still scoring top 10 albums (almost #1) and haven't changed their way. Lots of respect for The Beastie Boys.

Rock & Roll hall of fame in april. :y:
