Eminem really had a comeback year. Although he released Relapse last year, it didn't get anywhere near the attention the 2010 Recovery album did.

Not only did he release Recovery, but he released songs like:

-Forever
-Drop the World
-Love the Way You Lie (Part 2)
-Roman's Revenge
-Living Proof
-All She Wrote
-Where I'm At
-Etc.

Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Royce Da 5'9'', Lloyd Banks and T.I. are some of the big names he has collaborated with this year to keep the momentum up.

He also put on two shows with Jay-Z bringing in a lot of big names. He has really come back into the spotlight this year but he is going to have to keep it up if he wants to stay on top. The younger generation of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga is very hard to compete with and when they release content Em will be pushed to the side a little bit. It should be fun to watch :)
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished

21 mill in 10 min :worship: :worship:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

^Many things can happen the next year. Like Eminem might decide to post something on his facebook by himself. If he's so popular on it now, can you imagine what would happen if he decided to interact? She keeps posting new messages almost daily and yet he's about to overtake her. Two great years on the scene just can't produce the same number of fans as 12 years of the great career.

Agreed! oh, been watching his rise too and its incredible. Think he had like 8 pages of discussion pages to send him Bdae messages with like 50 grand messages. Also been looking at You Tube views for his tracks. Might just get most views for a video with LTWYL.

Oh, i use facebook alot and its a great place to interact. It took me 7 months of intensive searching to come to TRshady but only a couple minutes to get to Facebook. And to the reason he got so big this year- thot that was easy- LTWYL.

1.54 mil behind Gaga.

Will he catch up before her album comes out and she explodes again? I guess he will.

That's entirely untrue. I have friends that are plain and simple mainstream Eminem fans and the above said tracks caught their attention despite not really being on the radio. Lil Wayne, Drake, Niki Minaj, Rihanna and T.I. are all huge current musicians, I don't know what you're talking about. And it wouldn't even matter if it just peaked the interest of "stans" because new ones are being made every day. There's a whole new young generation just discovering Eminem and in today's world every little thing helps expand an broaden your audience.

---------

On a lighter note he has surpassed 22 million fans and is currently #5!
