he basically gives his current self the middle finger in this interview

by saying he makes music for himself, and he wants to sound he feels he should sound, not give a fuck abt the fans

he says that the delivery is really important to him and it should be perfect, and he would fix the slightest of words on the mic

fuck you fans, fuck all you hoes that made Em ditch relapse 2 and go semi dope/semi wack
The devil ain't on a level same as him!

The part about delivery was still true when he wrote The Way I Am [book, not song]. He said the same thing he said in this interview in his book about how if even the word "the" was said wrong, he'd fix it.

Enough about Relapse 2 already complaining about it not coming out won't make him release it anytime soon.

Em is a perfectionist man...He did sort of listen to what people said about Relapse, but it wasn't really what made him switch up his subject matters..
I guess he must of just gotten sick of the whole cheerful serial killing shit and just wanted to be serious again, like the MMLP days.
Use this as an analogy,
Recovery, this is me as I come out of rehab, a new person, new flow, voice, delivery, life.
Relapse, this is me, not knowing what the fuck I want, or what the fans expect, then you get a Encore on steroids.
Shit happens dawg.
Hopefully the next Em album will be just plain beats with layered vocals and Dre beats, but one can only pray.

I'm actually glad that Em "sold out," the more he shoves himself into the spotlight, the more hope I have for the hip-hop business.
Radio loves spamming Em, a lot of shit hits the charts, it's great to see him there dominating.
It just goes to show that talent can still be noticed.

It's not fans, Eminem said he had enough great material to put out 2 or 3 albums, but then he was in Hawai with Dre and they started recording and they prefered it to the relapse material.

Or smth like that.

then they're music preference is really odd... em praises nicki, wayne and drake anyways, so figures

Em did 8 songs in hawai,On Fire and So Bad are 2 of them, they were going there with the intent of Relapse 2.

then when he came back,he told his A&R's to get him beat CD's from other producers and thats how he ended up with just and all the other fucks

fuck the fans

Yeah but on fire and so bad have no accents though. i think Relapse 2 would have been very similar to Recovery with better beats.

That's actually what I've started to think recently. There was an interview from when relapse 2 was still happening, and Em said the same stuff about making it that he did about Recovery. The whole "I thought relapse was missing something so I listened to my old stuff and realized that Relapse didn't have that emotion, and this album is more about the emotion." So maybe Recovery just sort of naturally evolved out of making R2.
