Sounds like a weird dance beat. Your drums need better organizing. Use the right amount of beats in a bar. Like you know how in FL when you make the drums its Grey, then its reddish maroon, then Grey, then reddish maroon and then keeps repeating depending on how much bars you want? Well each Grey is a bar with 4 beats, and each reddish maroon is a bar with 4 beats. 4 beats in each bar. Your drums should be something like this: Kick on the 1st beat (first box) then the next 3 beats (boxes) empty. <<that's the first Grey bar then comes the reddish maroon bar, and that's: Snare or clap, on the first beat (box) then the next 3 empty. Now that there is a simple drum pattern. Your drums should always be structured well if you want the beat to flow well. Now you can switch that kick pattern up, and have 2 kicks in the first 2 beats (boxes), and then the next 2 beats empty. <<Grey bar. Then have the same snare structure as I mentioned before << Reddish maroon bar. You should NEVER have 2 snares or claps in the same bar, UNLESS you got a pattern in your head that works well with the melody. Once your drums are structured well, your melody will soon adapt that structure too and your beats will sound stable, unlike now the drums is all over the place, and the melody is all over the place to.
Hope that helps.
