My names Victor

I was originally born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the United States in 1996.
The first person my mom ever listened to was Eminem. She is the one who let me listen to him at a very young age and from that point on I have loved all of his work. His songs are great, i can relate to a lot and can see his message through majority of them.
I joined this forum to ask questions and provide helpful answers!

I've recently began collecting a lot of Eminem memorabilia.
My first question has to do with the Slim Shady EP Promo Tape that I have from my mom.
It was released in 1997, and is the promo tape that I believe Dre heard first. (Not literally my tape, but the same one).
I can't post a new topic, I have read the rules and I believe I need to respond to posts more, but if you can answer my questions here that would be awesome too!

Yea that's what I have read, after 5 posts I can post topics and threads normally.

My question is this; I have a (Web Entertainment, 1997) Slim Shady EP. The cassette is white and black. It has Web Entertainment imprinted on it as well as the address. The cover in the cassette housing is just white with the track listing, album name and artist name as well as the Web Entertainment logo and address. It also says "For promotional use only" both on the cassette cover and the cassette itself. It DOES play the songs so it does work and it's in perfect condition with no cracks or scratches on the cassette or the film. I'm wondering if anyone has ever seen it or heard of one like this. I believe it's the promotional tape that Dr. Dre heard, but I'm not sure.

I have called Shady Records with the woman telling me to call Interscope because they didn't release it. Interscope told me to call Shady Records cause they would be more "fit" to tell you anything about the cassette because it's Eminem. So I've been sent around in a loop. Also tried to contact Shady Records through Twitter to no avail.

It's a bit of a long shot, but you could try directly contacting Web Entertainment. Their site has some contact info, but the site is outdated as fuck so I don't know if they will be of any use to you:

There is a phone number and an Email on there, but I don't think the site has been updated since like 2003, and I don't know what capacity WEB still functions at.
