FLOW

Flow is not structure everyone should remember that, flow is how well it comes off the tounge, there is no beat in texting battling so this is how you judge it, if you are stopping and re reading and confused how the next words come about he has BAD Flow , it also about were every rythm

Example 1 -

that bar by Tournament rapper "WordSkill" has good flow if you check the rythming, Blaze and Glaze end the line the next rythm is Ways witch flows the lines together, he then opts to change the rythming scene but still has the flow

Example 2 -
fuck you , tuck blew , machine dun firing range
then you spill and i kill your posse

that bar i just made has bad flow, the rythming starts nice then he changes it and doesnt flow the lines together


STRUCTURE


Structure is simple and good structure usually is a good plus for flow

Example 1 -
am a deadly spitter but more deadly hitter
you a deadly shitter but even shitter spitter

that bar i just made has great structure both has 8 words with near the same ammount of sylybles aswell, if you do not know what a sylyble is please google

Example 2 -

that bar i just made has terrible structure, some words dont even need to be there

always check your verse before posting and check the structure count the words and sylybles and you should no mess up on it, it doesnt need to be perfect just no bad enough to notice



PUNCHES

Punches is a BIG part in battling its were you compare your oppenent to somethin humilating or make a personel shot about him/his skill/his family anythign that can humilate him.....BUT punches can also be used to compare yourself to something but that is alot less effective and not usually considered a good punch

Example 1 -

That bar is usng a punch "inches" used in a battle a while back, not the exact same lines though, as you can see its funny and its smart coz "momma's" dont have penis's and its personel

Example 2 - see your so scared you gonni pee
youll run away like a floating tree

That bar i just made there, and some ppl straight up may think its good but it sucks, you see tree's dont run so the comparrison is shit, they cant run, and why a floating tree is just stupid


MULTIES

We should all know what multis is but ill show examples

Example 1 -

trick-to-static

Example 2 -
Prime-fanatic
Time-automatic

both of them are multis , because the have the same sylybles and all the words rythm

example 3 -
Sick-o-matic
Trick-to-ya-static

that isnt a multi because of the added word "ya"

RHYMES

Rythms are above but also the words used

example 1 -

thats bad rythming very simple words that everyone has done a million times

example 2 -
this is just like climb and practice
and my rythms like cactus

now that isnt super rythming but better , using Practice and cactus is pretty smart , cactus aint a commenly used word...

VOCAB

vocab or vocabulary ir simply haing a bigger knowledge of more words, i wont do example but if you always rythm with , To , You , Blue , Moo , you have bad vocab , if you want an example of excellent vocabulaury listen to McMaybe, the only way to get this better is read books/dictionarys/thesaruases


COMPLEXITY

complexity is a mixture or everything , rythmes
, multis , name play, vocabulary


Example 1 -

those lines by me arent extremely complex but the complexity is there, multi, rythming in line multis ect

very simple lines no complexity at all

NAMEPLAY

nameplay now i beileive a lot of people do not think about battles enough to notice name play at times so ill shall explain

Example -
another magazine im goin to get shot off quick
you aint mean just coz you cock off dick

that was the first bar in a battle " 24 mag vs Mc-Menace" now that bar was by mc menace and has gook examples of word play....his opponent is called 24 mag so the first reference to magazine is nameplay , he is referring to magazine that your read and the magazine in a gun...shot of quick is also name play witht he word shot, get shot of somehting can mean throw it away ( through the magazine as in the one you read away ) then it can also mean shot a gun off ( as in shoot the magazine in a gun off ) that first line interlinks the both uses of wrodplay..... the last line has a litte aswell, Cock of dick....now cock of dick is using cock as name play you can cock somehting of as in suck so suck off dick , or cock it of as in cock of a gun... thats name play

OTHER

other is simply the refferences used ( metephors ) any effects like alliteration you liked or did you enjoy it overall
