Lifless and cold here I lay on my bed

as cold thoughts of sorrow run in my head.

You make me feel torment. You make me feel pain.

It feels like youve left me a rose in the rain.

The letter you left me was too much to bear.

The black rose beside it made me feel despair.

I sit alone as Im going insane.

Why did you leave me a rose in the rain?

Im souless and empty. Theres nothing to feel.

Im dying inside and the wounds never heal.

Im trapped in a dark world, a sad world of pain

alone cause youve left me a rose in the rain.
