What you think about it ?
To be honest, i dont like the concept.
How are you supposed to diss someone if you cant even reveal who they are?
i mean it makes sense to use these alias's, but it makes it almost impossible to make a good diss track unless you can take jabs at the person himself.
thats just my thoughts, and i suggest next tourney we DONT do this alias system, it blows and the quality of the verses shows that.

i like it.......some ppl are dickriders and vote 4 ppl they like or vote against the ppl they dont like but i wasn't around 4 the 1st tourny so i cant really say what 1 is better.....

i think this da first time someone didnt like da idea ...
but outta da 24 contestants and some ppl like ASP dey agreed this is da best way.
i newbie can never win against a vet even though he killed him in a verse.

first tourney lot of arguments and dick ridin went.. this tourney ZERO arguments and no dickriding. thr were times whr some real close people have vote otherwise on da drop..

i think dis system will continue. for further tourneys. if u wana have normal battles u can easily call them out ina normal thingy..dis is y da tourney is special ...and leave this discussuions in da rap battle discussion area

You do make a good point though, but the quality of the verses can't be blamed on the aliases, that's down to the people writing them. You watch towards the end as all the shit gets filtered out, quality will improve.

I guess it's a case of : Fair unbiased voting VS personal punches?

I think fairness should be priority, and this is coming from someone who had people saying I got favourtism in some battles. It's bullshit, and my results so far prove that, but shhh nuff said about that. I think what C-Game said is very true, a new guy to the site will arely get a win he probably deserves. I faced this myself on other forums, and it's a horrible feeling, losing when you know you were better. anonymity cuts that out.

But, there's still battles going on that aren't anonymous, if that's what ya prefer.

Clarky, it was a little complex to understand at the beginning, but after that it was fairly plain sailing. C-Game really did explain things very well, and I don't remember anyone not getting things explained even better a second time. It's okay havin a simple tourney, but for fairer voting I think working the extra few brain cells is worth it.
