Y U NO POST NEWS?!

general news and shady news..last time a blue name started a topic was like a month ago :n:

First off, I actually didn't realize I was supposed to do anything in general news, I was told that I was in charge of the Eminem-related stuff, and Zabe was in charge of Shady Records news. So...I dunno what's up with that.

And as for the Eminem News section, I feel like that section is just for the important, official stuff, like awards, new songs, albums, music videos, certification, whatever. And we're a little thin on that kind of news lately, since Em isn't doing anything, and therefore I haven't been posting anything in that section. I put all the less important news in the main Eminem section.

I try, but the problem is those sections don't matter when it gets reposted in the main section again. I've said this multiple times but... I can't enforce it and those that have the power to do so don't agree with me.

I think of those sections as a sort of archive for important news, so it doesn't bother me. Because the main Em and Shady Records sections have so much other stuff going on, it would be hard for someone who, for example, wanted to look back and see what's been going on in Em news for the last year if they tried to use the main Em section, but because there are only news threads in the news sections, it would be very easy to look through those sections for that info. But because the news sections don't get a lot of traffic, I try to post big news in the news section as a record of the news, and in the main Em section as an active discussion thread.

I have done that in the past, but even then, people post it again. I gave up at that point.

I'm still pissed off about the new D12 which apparently wasn't new even though it was new.
