I never actually listened to Nas before, I'm like an Eminem/Big L/2pac/Biggie Smalls fan. :smoking: Just heard a song by Nas, and it was really good (Idk the song title

Everyone seems to love Nas, so I'm gonna start to listen to his music now. :happy:

Nas has a great delivery, arguably the best, but if you wanna start listening to him, you should check out his debut album, it's vintage.

As the albums progress, his style tightens though.

I dunno, it's just a song that stuck with me is all.
All of his work is brilliant though, so yeah.
I don't think I've ever heard a mediocre or poor performance from him on any record.

and @mdemaz i wouldn't say he has the best delivery period. But his delivery is smooth as fuck. Has has that born-to-MC delivery and he's taken that and fine tuned it to the point of what we're now hearing. I'm glad to see someone else recognizing it.

Definitely. What I love about his delivery, is the coherence and that balance. Like, he never lets the flow to overshadow the lyrics, but he always brings the energy, and has excellent flow and intonation patterns. He also has a dope voice.

This doesn't apply to all of Nas' albums though. If I was to rate his delivery per album (period) it'd be like this:

Illmatic
It Was Written
Stillmatic
Life Is Good
The Firm Album
I Am...
The Lost Tapes
Hip-Hop Is Dead
Untitled
Distant Relatives

The rest I don't like so much, and only the first 4 are extra good.
