Red Dragon, Silence of the Lambs, or Hannibal?

Postby Ivy » Jul 4th, '06, 16:32

Which movie did you prefer out of the three?

Red Dragon - Pretty nice movie, leaves you in some suspense, and it's identical to the book, except for some changes to the end...

Silence of the Lambs - Awesome movie, loving it...I prefer Clarice Starling above Will Graham, her and Lector just had that bond...same as the book...

Hannibal - My favorite of the three, so much gore and Hannibal eats the FBI Agent's brain :zipped: ...I just love the movie...however...it's different from the book, completely different...in the movie at the end...he cuts his own hand off in order to escape from Clarice and serves a kid the FBI Agent's brain...however...in the book, Clarice seduces Hannibal and they become lovers, and in order to tame him she uses sex...I love the book a lot better, I just wish the producers could have made it the same...

There's a fourth book to the series coming out in August of this year...it will describe Hannibal as a child, how he grew up, and what made him who he became... :smoking:

That is true, but I like her a lot better than the new girl they got, I don't know who she is...but it was pretty messed up that they showed a relationship or bonding between Lector and Starling and then nothing happens, when you know it should even though it's not right...you know?!? That's why I like the book Hannibal better... :sweating:

Well if u love unique movies ull like this is one  ...

Plot - original
Stroy - unpredictable
actors - played good, but its not exactly the actors that made the movie good.

The subliminal message in the movie is wat makes it great... whole idea and how it ends.

Its not the kind of movie that i myself would go and rent or buy, but wen they show this movie on TV i gladly embrase it.
