when do u write the "/" in a rap like in the booklets for eminem show and encore lyrics?

a bar's broken down into beats kinda like a heartbeat but different speed....usually a bar's 4 beats

a lot of people seem to think that a bar is two lines but 1 line = 1bar

so for a standard beat it would be:


boom clap boom clap

so theres usually 2 claps in a bar (i think thats why ppl get confused they think its 2 lines in a bar but it aint) but there can be as many booms (kick drums/bass drums) as u like


sumtimes in a very fast track like hip hop by dead prez the beat is at half the speed so theres only 1 clap per bar
