its sad really....i mean, rappers are basically pawns for entertainment. i mean people loved tupac n biggie, but they never found the murderer...but i saw on tv, they looked for one guy for SEVENTEEN YEARS and caught him. if they really wanted to find out who did it, they could, they jus dont give a fuck. even worse for proof, they found the murderer, knew who it was the whole time, and GAVE HIM A FUCKIN FINE and sent him on his jolly way.

its jus so fucked up, makes me think twice abou bein successful in rap, cuz ur basically bein used for your talents, n once they suck you dry....they throw you away.

the people that believe that are fuckin idiots, cuz its not jus violence in rap. theres violence in movies, violence in games. some may say rap music is to angry, to agressive, then the fuck is "terminator", or jason....to be able to take away violence in america, we either need 2 kill stupid people, or take away all forms of entertainment....and i doubt that will happen...so where stuck with the bullshit.

some people even think rap should be about violence... some friend of mine hered a song here at my house, it was dutch, some sort of love song... but the lyrics were really good, good beat 'n stuff. and he was like: nice beat but the lyrics aren't even good... and usualy he doesn't even listen to lyrics

people just don't know what Rap or Hip-Hop is... fucked up, for real yeah

hmm i agree, rappers never got much credit, or value from the people with thick wallets.

I still stand by my opinion of hating on some ganster rappers.

Wen in 1991 NWA started talking reality, and "expressing themselves" a lot of idiots out there start immitating them years after, completely skewing the view on crime.

If a rapper is telling stories and is EXPLAINING (not lying about how he grew up) then its acceptable. But I honestly dont wanna hear a faggot that claims hes a killer (and might be one) and is bragging about it. That seriously discusts me, and a younger kid listening to that shit, accepting something like this discust me even more.

Its out of control, there needs to be a moral line drawn.

There are rappers like Rakim, big daddy kane... etc who talk the truth about their sorrounding on the mic yet create a possitive message. Big up to GURU for having the balls to spill these kind of opinions out there, who is currently doing everything he can to bring a good name to his people while staying proud.

And spitz, the murderer of 2pac aint never gonna be found, coz the murder is most probably the goverment... that kills any influencial figure to cross there way in dispute...

malcom x, mart luther king, john lennon, JFK... and many more.

Poverty leads to violence and not entermaimnent. To say it simplistic: " a hungry man is a angry man."

btw ASP, real killas don't really like talking about the fact they used to be killa's. Akon doesn't like to sing about that car theft he used to do.

another thing about that friend of mine: he opened media player over here, clicked the re-up, and first song he started was 'Murder Murder' stupid ain't it? :sweating:

I think alot of people here should watch the movie "Crash" it shows how the whole world contributes little bits to fuckin things up....Belive it or not, You argueing with a friend of yours, or making someone mad ....Could affect a person on the other side of the world..People tend to Range there feelings. Emotions spread faster then disease. It's a rub off....It could all start by seeing someone smile..This sounds a little bit off topic but it's 100 % true

your actions could be the death of someone far away...It's hard explaining but ill give you guy a chance to respond what you think i just said, and tell me if you got it clear. It's something obvious but i'm just brining it to the attention of people. and i think rappers shouldnt be self centered and labeled that...There regular people. and i would rather be a pawn. The wealth seems worth it. what other choices are there in this world. If you become a regular modern day class worker. you benifit the world in so little ways. Being a "rapper" you have the Mic the pedestal, We can choose to use that power for relating messages, and changing lives. but i noticed alot of rappers now adays would rather show people a new way to wear things. or promote a style of walking....meh If i get big I'm gonna do big things
Plasp says : You cant claim you brought audio here just because you were the first one to do audio.. thats equivilent to the first guy to ever jerk off saying hes responsible for the rest of the world doing it for all of eternity, no, we did it because it was there. not because you did it first

that happens to regular ppl as well, so don't make opinions based on the few stories u read about.there are thousands of unsolved murders in the world, but u don't care cuz u feel u can relate to a rapper u've never met.think b4 u react.
Life is just one big lesson
