i agree wid asp sed at the start 50 reli isnt tht guy he having a go n tht lol but he is pretty untalented, lyrically he sounds like a joke, i love u girl like fat girl loves cake is one lyric well it was sumfin like tht i herd in a club listenin to his record, i personally listen to these artists:
nas, tupac, common, the most
eminem is gd lyrically but still a little commercial
I think a gud rule of thumb is if a rapper's song is herd in a club theyre not very talented but have a cool voice lol, but there will b countless exceptions to tht, im just saying generally
i.e. fatman scoop, dmx, busta, twista, snoop's new stuff paticuraly, 50, luda, all tht shit,
they all jus sound cool, i mean they may hav the odd punchline
like luda says he feels like he has a midget hangin from his necklace cos of his jewwls but u dont need much of a brain to cum up wid dat type of shit,

i think rap's true talent is missed, I said a lyric recently that:
a rappers born, I use tracks to measure life,
they blast, we fall, but true rappers never die,
if u can follow that im saying im born, and my life is measured by how many good tracks i made, because that determines how long my voice is herd for after me, being a honest mc, having been killed, by fake mcs wid nothing reli to say, like 50 for example.
I hate it when mcs blow their own trumpet and say they are the best or better than others, but I rap about shit i wish other rappers wud rap about, but i often feel ppl onli care who flows gud or sounds cool, and clever or meaningful lyrics no1 gives a fuk about, but then thats y i am who i am, lol, i stand in a club and listen to the words in a song, as well as go mental to the tune, so for me meaningful lyrics are whts missing
I FEEL MOST STRONGLY THAT SOUL IS MISSING FROM HIPHOP,
ppl rapping about shit that bothers them,
I also feel strongly that ppl rap aobut shit they feel bothers other ppl, when they dnt care about it themselves, eminem and immortal technique being my main suspects, but i still listen to them and give them the benefit of the doubt that they do care about everything they say, tech isnt signed and acts like hes still raw bt he is still rich as fuk and making alot of fukin money while ppl are starving so i cant reli accept tht he cares about them tht much. i suspect eminem may jus make deep songs cos he can lyrically/skills-wise rather than the fact he has much feelings in tht direction, but I dont hold any definate opinions on this and onli feel this way at this time, i may change tomorow,
as well as the oones i mentioned i also listen to friends locally such as
http://www.myspace.com/handofhybrid aswell as asp because i think they have some reli deep concepts aswell as lryics in their raw state as words, i.e. theres meaning between the lines, as well as skill, also, they rap on beats that arent commercial, i.e. ones tht they feel deep rather than ones every1 els finks are cool.

ras why did i write al tht bye

What's Missing: Nothing

What's Wrong: Proper Recognition into the Music World, I've got two ears and two eyes and two legs so I'm hoping one day I'll find where hip hop is hanging out at.

My Opininon is that inspiration has faded, the radio has changed, the majority would rather hear crap than to understand the definition of hip hop, they don't care, it's all the same to them: they probably listen to the music because of the beat, while I am mainly a lyrics freak. c'mon where's the lyrical spitters, rhymers, street gospel at?
oh yeah... and thanks for nothing too

I think the majority of Underground listeners are lyrics freaks. Especially, I myself. My brother just loves Lil' Boosie's song "Wipe Me Down". I don't like listening to the radio, and I'm not trying to attain any Rap tracks of 2007 because it's all the same. One of myfriends say that that Soulja Boy song "Crank That" is a nice song.
