most people that don't listen to hip hop automatically think it's always about black people saying "n!gga n!gga, bitch bitch, i got a deal and i'm rich" ...and sadly, there actually ARE a lot of songs like that, lol. it's become a stereotype i guess, because most of the radio songs or music videos are about the gold chains and rims.

whats worse is when its "hip hop" listeners who think white people listening to hip hop are tryna be black, its the stereotype black male being gangsta that puts this image into close minded people's head and as soon as they here hip hop they think of that image so if you listening to the music and not looking like that image they are taken back.

once eminem came into the game they had a image of the white hip hop listener, blonde hair, wearing tracksuits and bandada's, the sad thing is there is thousands of people who really do fit this stereotype and it started becoming a problem when being able to record music came as simple as beat mic and pc, coz you got all these stereotypes getting on the mic and making stereotype wanne-be music and its gives a bad name to real MC's trying to make it.
