I've talked with my active horse zoo friends and several of us have bumped into another zoo while out fence hopping, especially in a small community. I don't fence hop much these days as I have my own ranch (except when I find an irresistable stallion in a field somewhere!) but it did happen to me once. You get startled, scared, then realize that it's another zoo, and just sorta pass each other in the night and go about your business. Unless you can really muster your courage and hook up!
