When did u start to listen to rap

When I was around 9 or 10 I won a CD that came inside a cereal box. Before then I never really liked any music, but this CD had Sugarhill Gang's rap version of the ABC's. I rapped the fuck out of it. My cousin then introduced me to The Real Slim Shady and I started watching MTV more and then downloaded Napster and started downloaded massive amounts of Rap when I was around 11. I didn't know what half of that shit meant either.
