Whats harder to write Rap or Rock

imo Rap because you have to deal with flow punchlines similes metaphors and it has to have meaning
Rock on the other hand has some flow no punches and doesnt have to make sense look at Black Hole Sun.
But this is really a debate me and my friend had his side was rock mine is rap

Rap, no doubt. There is just so many reasons why rap that I dont feel like writin them all.

Rock is more of a BEAT music. the sound is what makes rock complex. you gotta get member's who's talent is that they can play different instrument's, then practise with each other. to make the sound RIGHT. otherwise everyone play's their instrument weird the beat get's fucked up. then maybe a singer , who write's his lyrics. it also take's practise to be able to sing. and to sing the lyrics the RIGHT way, and to fit the beat.

Rap, Both the sound & the Lyrics Are Equally important. You gotta get someone who can make a good beat, then mix it with the lyric's. Lyric's & Beatmaking both take practise. You gotta learn to ride the beat too.

what's harder to WRITE? Lyrics wise it's easily rap, overall it's probably Rap too, .. unless you count writing the note's to a rock song. then it's a coin flip.
