It does, anyways back on topic: Monopoly is a great game for an iPhone when I had an iPod touch I use to play that game all day long along with the game of life, that's a great phone game as well..

What kind of apps are you interested in?

As for games, get an app called Appshopper. It updates regularly showing what games have gone free. There's a lot of good stuff that goes free from time to time, and this app tells you.
