Birthday Gift Ideas for 18 Year Old

I think this is a problem every teenager has.
I'm 17 now. A lot of my friends and I are turning 18 this year and there will be a lot of parties and gifts.
I don't have that many ideas.

So....ideas please. Serious and funny ones. Thank you.

Also my gf turns 18 this month. I have no idea. Thought of buying a huski. Not sure it's a good idea. But I heard her saying that one would be cute. Hope it's not very very expensive.

It's hard to choose a good present for someone you don't know.. Here, it's usually alcohol if I don't know the person very well or don't feel like coming up with some original stuff. When I got more time and consider the person a closer friend or good mate, I try to make a present on my own. One time it was a comix about cats for my friend (thanks to Maybe btw ), other time I created a "travelling alcohol set" for my mate, it was a big box with tiny bottles of alcohol, about 5-6 of them and 5 or 6 shots, I don't remember. I put it into a box, wrapped in paper and drew badges, like the ones you see in the cartoons, "Hawaii" or "Paris" all over it, so it seemed like he's been in alot of places. For the other friend, it was a picture frame, I made it look like it was from Africa.

Myself, I like to get hand-made presents, or at least to get the feeling that the person spent a little more than 15 minutes in a store to find a present for me.
