why the hell does it take so long to download somethin this way
i download 1 for 5 minutes then the next 1 i couldnt use rapidshare again less i buy it so i tricked it but it took like 2 hrs!!! :zipped:

cookies have nothing to do w/ this. the reason you take them off is to load faster.

the time wait is cause by your same IP address downloading the file (not cookies, deleteiing cookies does not chage ip address)

This DOES work because it does not download it from your computer, it uses there servers (hence a different ip) and then sends the file to you from there servers.

this also explains embm's problem in the above post. You don't get to download at the speed your computer can download. You can only download at the rate that peppermintsteaksauce's servers can send it to you.. and as it gets more and more know it will get slower and slower.

these sites will never go down though as there main purpose is to get your to blocked sites.

i use it to watch videos on http://www.showcase.ca (canada only site)
