i like what timbaland has been doing. experimenting with all types of music..

i like all kinds of music myself, but, from a historical point of view, i just can't deny the repeated "experimentation" of commercialism.... they basically take black music, water them down, and sell them to a white audience...

.. if anyone has seen the movie Dreamgirls. they discuss this topic. it's just the same thing that has happened to "gangsta," hip-hop, jazz, blues, R&B, rock n roll... just watered down meaning.

people seem to think that dressing a certain way is gangsta. a fitted cap and a couple chains dont make you gangsta. and as most of you have said, the wanna-be's "act" gangsta in a group. the thing is, even in a group they still just talk. true gangsta's dress in any way they like, can walk the talk no matter who and how many people are wit'em, and dont give too shits about wut people think about'em. the first example that comes to mind is Kez, when he posted his audios ppl were jokin on his voice. but he kept postin his rhymes, not givin a shit about wut people thought.... that's gangsta.

being a gangster states it in the name.....If you have no affiliations with a gang. you definatly arent one..even if you kno one...your still not one...the word has been spread out threw the years to mean something its not....The word is incorrrectly used in my eyes.....when im talking with someone they consider me a gangster cause the clothes i wear...they have no other word to use for me, so they just replace it with that.....we are wrongly justified at points in out lives...But with alot of them kids growin up tryna be hard andshit that there not...it really throws the "hip hop" look outta proportion
