so this morning my psychiatrist perscribed me 5mg valium (labled 'diazepam'), due to my severe anxiety as of recent. never been a fan of benzo's though so i'm kinda worried about trying it. anyone had it before?

took one at 6:45, it's 7:45 now and I'm feeling pretty good. my anxiety isn't completely at bay but it's definitely suppressed. feels like a light version of oxycodone.

Valium is more enjoyable than Xanax, for sure. Not so much of a blackout factor...less of a knock you on your ass type of feeling. The withdrawals are still hellish though, so don't abruptly stop using it if you are still taking it after a month.

@Aone10, neither have I, not a big fan of stimulants. I'm actually a pretty sober guy nowadays.

so holy shit, i just had arguably the craziest dream(s) of my life. It ended up knocking me out around 9:30, and from that point I kept thinking that I was waking up and putting something on on TV to doze back off to, since I felt really eerie, but I have no memory of actually successfully getting anything to play, which makes me believe I never actually woke up to begin with.

Anyway, at some point I found myself in my childhood room, where I lived back in the late 90's, and I was with my sister, my ex and some hispanic friend from my first middle school. We had this chinese-like box and we were some how gonna get high off of it. I had no interest in doing so but we somehow ended up opening it anyway, and there was an IV bag inside, which we opened up as well. From this point my breathing got really short and I remember running out to my mom's old room, and eventually running back in because I realized that I was all alone out there. I woke up pretty soon after this and I was trembling, trying to catch my breath. Now I'm trying to find out if it was the valium or the fact that I'm trying to wean off zyprexa (15mg) cold turkey. Either way I'm pretty freaked out and I doubt I'll be getting sleep any time soon, this fucking sucks dude because the valium was working wonders outside of this sleep shit

I suffer from anxiety too, that's why i had to stop smoking pot cause it was making it worse, i really don't recommend benzos, people get addicted to it really bad and it's a pain to get off them if you take them for a long period of time...when i feel anxious i take "Victan"(Ethyl loflazepate) which is a benzodiazepine derivative, the difference is that while Valium and Xanax gives you that "numb" effect for hours and sometimes the all day, Victan just helps past that "peak" of anxiety and you barelly feel numb at all just really helps you to calm down. All i take is half a pill when i feel a liltle more anxious just so that i don't get to that peak of panic/anxiety attacks, i'm glad my doctor perscribed me these cause i was really suffering from these attacks quite often latelly

Straight out of the shops that stuff was intense for the first 30-45 mins after a bad boy line you would get a pain down your face and jaw on the side you snorted it. That took about a min for the pain to fade but when it did it was like boom you're eyes would shake yer jaw was rattling whoo fuck me what a rush but after that you would chase that high for days and it would never peak like that first rockstar line the stuff is horrible it turns you into a fiend lol it has a horrible smell and it was like snorting glass I swear I used to smell burning flesh up my nose the next day I used to think MDMA was intense before that stuff. The Drone days are over

Ugh, Mephedrone is nasty, man. I wouldn't touch any of those modified Cathinone substances, they're all addictive and toxic, even by stimulant standards.

Did you ever try some 6-APB? Talk about a rough fucking comeup. Half an hour of hell, followed by a hell of a 6 hour roll, then a good bit of jaw-clenching for about 10 hours.

definitely dude, whatever you gotta do. nicotine is crazy, especially if you've been smoking unnatural/prepackaged tobacco, the things these companies are starting to put into their growth products are fucking scary. To think that it kills 500,000,000 a year in america alone is enough to make me shit myself. That's a fucking epidemic. And even if it doesn't kill you on the spot, you're inevitably slowly shaving off all of your final days here that should be spent reflecting on this whole experience. Best of luck dude, I know how hard it can be for some people.
