Yes. There are many people who check the forum and never join. There's also a lot of people who join and never post.

I just wrote that I do this in another post. I read the forum, but if I don't have anything useful to add to a thread, I don't post. It's also kind of a pain when you are just starting out, if you are the "quiet" type anyway, to have your posts moderated first, and to have posts in some sections not count (like this one). I'm still working on the first 20 posts!

I lurked around on TRShady for a week or two maybe before I joined. It was the time when all those leaks were happening, and I was worried people would think I only joined for those, so I waited a tiny bit. Not long though, and I started posting right away pretty much. I remember almost giving up because I thought posting would always be as slow as it was those first few posts. I obviously didn't.

I don't see a problem with doing that, I do the same thing. No one posts in every thread they read. I actually make it a point to read some threads and not post in them, simply because they're entertaining and I have nothing to add to them. When I first joined, there was no "first # of posts are moderated" rule, but there was a post limit on gaining access to certain sections *cough* dl central *cough*

And Clockworx, I hope you don't mind me asking, but where in NJ are you from? I'm from Monmouth County.

I lurk a ton of other forums cause of how entertaining they are, or the debates being had, whilst not being able to add to the discussion. As for this forum, I only really only read my old posts, I didn't lurk this forum before I joined. I just straight signed up.

Yeah, before registering I was already around here. The "Recovery Sales Thread" was one of my favourite ones. That was also the place of my first posting. So it's nothing strange that not all want to register immediately.

I stocked this forum maybe a year ago then forgot about it, then when the leaks started happening I found it again and decided I mite aswell sign up. I usually just use it for updates/downloads. Ill only really comment if I think someone will enjoy reading it.

well,I don´t write in every post I read.I was about not to write in this ...
and also what has been said before, many people who are not registered go to the eminem section...and there are people who are registered but takes some time till they post.
