So I wrote a song and i wanna record it but i mention this one chicks name in it and its used in a negative way. I just say the first name but i was wondering is there a way i could get in trouble for saying it?

Depends on how common her name is. If it's something very unique, then I wouldn't risk it. But if it's dumb shit like susie, katie, alice, jane, whatever, then it's all good. You didn't read about Tonya coming after Eminem, did you? No.

Why would you think you would get in trouble if you used that girl's name in a negative way?. Eminem mentions a lot of celebrity ladies in a negative way in a lot of songs, he doesn't get into trouble. & if the girl says anything just tell her that you are using your "creativity" & I don't mean no harm.

because ive got in trouble with my school before for saying stuff in my songs and shit..and i dont really wanna go to alternative school just for songs.
