Canada or Amsterdam?

my buddies and I wanna travel, they don't care where to so I want to go to either Canada or Amsterdam as my first official country "Traveled"

Afghanistan, Ireland, Germany, Russia don't count b/c I didn't have "fun" there.

i was either paranoid (afghanistan) base (russia) or at an airport

I didn't realise that law passed, I thought they were just considering it. I'll have to look into that...

Amsterdam either way though, imo.

Western Canada - Alberta and B.C. are dope for scenery. I used to live in Ontario... its nothing special.. Toronto is alright i guess but not really a tourist spot although i heard recently that brothels may become legal in Ontario..?
Banff Alberta is pretty dope, and if you smoke pot you should check out B.C. lol its famous for its B.C. Bud although smoking pot here is NOT legal... its just sort of tolerated because so many people do it.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BC_Bud

I voted for Canada, but since i live here i would obviously choose to visit Amsterdam myself lol.

well if u read the link i posted, you'd see that in may 2012, that's when tourists can no longer smoke there, unless something were to change their minds, of course

From what I can tell they're strongly considering it. A few states or provinces are trialing it but not currently the one with Amsterdam in it. They are also looking to reclassifying Cannabis with a THC content higher than 15% as a hard drug, meaning it won't be available in cafes.

There is good news though. Cannabis actually isn't legal in Amsterdam, they just choose not to police it. So logic suggests that even when a law is passed that states you must only sell drugs to members they may choose to ignore it and not police it.
