Whatever is it, its gotta be a Unidirectional Cardioid Condensor microphone. As long as price is not a problem, i recommend the first one. The Shure's got "heavy" diaphragm so they fit for live performance only.

The Shure microphones are designed for live performance, therefore their diaphragm cannot receive heavy bass sounds. The microphone style you need to get is the first one, who covers a variety of frequencies (theoretically from 1Hz up to 40.000Hz but thats just theories). Its really the mixer that makes the difference.
