a friend of mine had bought The Marshall Mathers LP, and he put on The Real Slim Shady track...that's how I got introduced to rap music...

i was listenin to rap since i was 7, before i knew wut it was. to me music was just music, i listened to everything. i didn't know there were "genres" of music. people had to explain to me that music was divided.

wen i was 13-14 i worked at this factory were they make medals.. and lots of other metal works etc.. I was basically earning me some money to spend coz at the time, my family was hit by an economic crisis, dead broke.

Anyway, when i was working there, there was this dude who was about 20-21 who would teach me lend me some his tapes ...

I heard Ice cube, snoop dogg and cypress hill and i was instantly hooked... and i kept buying tapes and listning to them at work.

and also breakdancing and graffiti is something that lead me to hip hop. We was pretty into that shit back in the day.

heard tupac back when i wa slike 5 just before he died and i didnt like him , then when i was about 10 my sister was listenign to raved up version of changes , and i was like those lyrics are kool btu the beat sucks i downloaded chanegs and loved it , then a coyuple fo years later my mums freind became homeless so her and her 5 kids had to stay at our house for 2 weeks and with them they brought along sslp and i was like wow....that guy is funny as fuck.....i hated most the songs but laughed my ass off , then mmlp came out and i loved stan so i lsitened to him and 2 pac alot then i learned about other artists , nwa , snoop dogg , ice cube , dre , nate dogg , scarface , and was instantly hooked when i started learnign about the background fo the music

I've been listenin' to hip-hop for quite awhile, but i would like what was on the radio, that gay, T.I., Lil' Wayne, Yung Jeezy, then i found this site and i started to download some random stuff and i downloaded the chronic, i think Kronic posted it , so i was like woah this is dope, so i downloaded some more stuff and slowly i finally found my taste in music West Coast music and i was hooked

So i guess Tr introduced me to rap

What attracted me to Rap music, well I must say my friend Steve, he started listening to Eminem, while I was still listening the Nappy Roots, and 2Pac. Now I say i got reintroduced to rap music because Eminem redefined the meaning of rap music and truned it into an amazing line of music.

funny thing i realized later that a superstar(eminem) was in the clip 'still dre'
