the most noticeable ones:

'Makes Me Wanna Holler - A Young Black Man in America' - Nathan McCall - brilliant autobiography of a guy who made it from prison to The Washington Post office.

'Roots' - Alex Haley - from Gambia to the United States of America, from Kunta Kinte to Alex Haley. 200 years of Haley's family history.

'The Autobiography of Malcolm X - as told to Alex Haley' - self-explanatory.

'About A Boy' - Nick Hornby. you've probably seen the movie. a nice and funny book to read.

'A World Apart: Imprisonment in a Soviet Labor Camp During World War II' - Gustaw Herling-Grudzinski - personal account of life in the Soviet gulag.

'Crime and Punishment - Fyodor Dostoyevsky. ahh, great book.

'Adrian Mole - The Capuccino Years' - Sue Townsend. just a continuation of Adrian's diary. hilarious and tragic at the same time, gotta love it.

'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' - J.K. Rowling

and right now i'm starting with Martin Luther King's autobiography.

Nobody knows me, I'm cold
Walk down this road all alone
It's no one's fault but my own
It's the path I've chosen to go
Frozen as snow, I show no emotion whatsoever
So, don't ask me why I have no love
For these motherfucking hos

i've never read an actuall proper book wid 100+ pages before, but damn english class at college made me do it

book was called "raw" about a teenager who robbed a liquor store and than was caught and sent
to a farm (a correctional facility) to stay there for 6 months...reason why teacher told us to read this book is because we were learning about institutions and what effects do institutions leave on an individual...anyway book was real nice..i give it a 4/5

in the past 3 years, there is 2 many to remember, only because couple years back i used to read alot, notible ones are

A child called it - Dave Pelzer
The Lost Boy - Dave Pelzer
A Man Named dave - Dave Pelzer

the 3 books are the life story of Dave Pelzer, from his abusive mother starving him to the point he would steal food from anywere he could, one of the worst examples he mentiones is he stole 5 hot dogs out of the jar and his mother found out, she then made him vomit it back up into a basin and after that for his punishment and becuase what his mother described as her "caring" we has allowed to eat them again along with everything else he vomited up. to his rebel teenager years and his becoming of a man, very touching book, sad, inspiring happy and just a great run of emotions and excellent book, i recomend them :y:

I've read two Eminem Books
One was life in the words of eminem and the other was some biography about eminem. I seem to remember it claimed encore was the best album...

Oh and guinness world records 2008, 2007 and 2006 :y:
