I am one of the best at giving advice, and always end up revising the night before. The biggest tip I can ever give, would be to drink a Red Ball before going in, you for one know I'm not kidding when I say this Shaz. Has saved my ass twice and I plan to continue this theory for other times in my life where I need luck, namely meeting the mother in law and jerking off to something other then Jenna Jameson.
As for revision tips, read then re-read. Reading something twice always helps it sink in. Don't fear what you don't understand. Many, myself included tend to read/revise most what they are comfortable with, shying away from what they struggle on, so use one's head and listen to me. =p
Most courses give out a 'module pack' or some sort of booklet covering everything, read everything from about 3 days before and ya'll be surprised how much stays in. Only problem with this is that there's a good chance a week later you'll struggle to remember what you revised, let alone the actual information but for short term, it sure works.
Thirdly, don't change your live for it. People often say cut out pc use, stop going out and so on, but from experience it's the worst you can do. Keep your mind and body happy through the weeks ( keep it clean, lol ), get enough sleep and enjoy yourself, you'll be surprised how much free time you have without needing to cut things out.
Except for Yoga classes, I recommend cutting them out due to being crap and you'll get called names like 'silly billy', something I'm sure you'd wish to avoid. 8)
