I want to learn programming/game building

I really want to get into some sort programming when I get older. Just seems like it would be a cool thing to do, and pays well if your good.

Anyways do you guys know of any good online tutorials for beginners? I'm taking a few classes next year but I have a lot of time this summer that I want to put to good use.

Game Maker. Thats all im saying. I know sounds gay, "Game Maker". Its name is nothing special, but its very good. It has simple Drag and Drop for beginner programs and if you learn the Game Maker Language (aka GML) youll be able to control so much more of a game. Its very good. Google it
