Um I get financial aid and I'm on a scholarship so with room/board, food, and tuition I think it's like 14k a year. I have a work study that I do to earn back 2,500 of it. It's just what my parents can afford luckily, they took a hit when I went to school but I have only one more year. And I have 15k to pay in loans when I graduate.

Yeah I feel you. But I worked all through high school and even now, so I almost have my loan saved up.

i am currently attending college

in a year the estimate is about 18,000 bucks i owe! :o

the colleges work load alone is tough, and paying it back makes it more difficult,

with this mind dont you want an education !!!!!!!!

hmm.. here you can study in 2 modes on public universities: stationary and non-stationary. you pay for the non-stationary, usually alot. like medicine - $5 000 per year :'( stationary studies are the normal ones, i mean you go to school on daily basis. non-stationary - weekends only. or evenings. i'm on stationary, so i ain't got to pay, thank God lol

you also pay in private colleges. but those are for people who didn't made it to public universities, doesn't mean they're worse than public ones though. it's just.. you know, prestige of the 'big' universities i guess. everyone wants to go to the public ones, like University Of Warsaw or Jagiellonian University, Warsaw School Of Economics, Medical University Of Warsaw and so on.. private college costs alot too, so you better get your ass together and apply to public ones^^

btw. there's no difference between the word 'college' and 'university' here, so i use them both. sorry if it's confusing, but it's the same here.

Fuck school I'm too cool to go back.

Just kidding, but I'll never go back to school again. I can't think of something I hated more than school, for real. Worst years of my life.

I go to a community college and since I have good grades, I got in to the "stars" program where you go for free. In fact, I even got a $700 refund..wish I didn't use it though -_-
