Im from england so i dont know much about this guy but from what i gather hes preety the new to the game. What shocks me is the people hes got backing him for his debut album. Jus worderin what you guys think.

Is this guy somethin special or does his managers just know a lot of people in high places?

His rich ass dad knows a lot of people in a lot of high places. He's decent, I hate his flow and delivery because they're so god damn boring to me, but lyrically he's cool. He reps the 18-25 year old market perfectly. Semi-slacking, weed smoking college kid with nothing better to do than rap about what he feels. I don't dislike him per say, but you'd never catch me bumpin his shit.

i thought there would be some family connection like. so do you personally care about a persons background when you hear them rap or is it just the lyrical content and quality to you?

Neither really. It's more about how much I can relate to what someone says and flow. Lyrics count for a lot as well, but I like artists of all different styles and complexity levels ya know? Him being from a rich area was kinda weird at first, but he's not talkin some gangsta shit and he's been 100% real so I respect him for that. My only issue is that I usually can't relate to his songs and I don't like how "laid back" his flow is cuz it's pressing up on boring.

well if you didnt catch on, mtv did a sarcastic ad campaign telling people not to vote. then toward the end of the commercials changed it up and told everyone to go vote, let nothing stop you blah blah. trying to get them to vote...

Na mate ya got me wrong. Im aware that is not made for his album advertisement but he must of gotten backing so that he could use them people in his video edit.

I think he's got skill, I've said this before, he's different, not even that he's white, he rhymes about different shit then most rappers do, and the shit he talks about that are the same (smokin, girls, etc) he does in a different way, he's appealing to the college kid and white kid in general. I have liked him since I first heard him and I'll be backing him until he drops an encore
