So.. hi... um.. aight.. Im 13 years old, around.. what.. 1,66? Midle weight (around 60), and i wanna start now workin' out, start on my abs, muscle's etc, can anybody give me a guide to how to start off?

youre 13... a good guide would be to start in 3-4 years... for now just do bodyweight exercises (pushups, pull ups, one legged squats) 3 days a week... lifting heavy weights could fuck u up at your age :y:

Yeah, i know. :\ But not like 20-40KG weights, i mean just like pushups etc, that can start-off my abs right?

if all u want is abs then do sit ups and eat right... never skip meals or anything, have bout 5 meals a day but small ones so u dont get fat... n breathe right when ur doing the sit ups... breathe in when ur goin down and out when ur goin up... do the sit ups untill ur abs burn or u cant do another one about 3 times a week

Yeah thanks bro <3 How many situps should i do? :\

And should i do like, monday, wednesday, friday, then take a break those 2 days, just go out and run?

as many as u can really... n yer running would be a good idea, everyone has abs it just depends on your bodyfat%, sit ups will show them up more though... id say do push ups, pull ups n squats too though... just 1 set until you cant do another one for someone your age though... dedication is a key part of this though

worked for me.pretty much had a 6 pack but i stopped workin out and nows its gone :roll:

Uh well honestly it depends how much you've grown. People at 13 can be either already matured and like over 6 feet oorrr they could be as short as 5 foot 2 for a normal person. Just don't overwork. I'd say for abs do crunches and situps, for stronger arm muscles do 10-20 reps/5 sets a day with 10 pounds and if thats too hard for you do some 5 pounders. Eat healthy; try replacing soda drinks with just some water to cut back on sugar and calories.

I have a team mate who started of too early and at the beginning yeah, he looked awesome to everyone I guess cause he was very muscular. He was the strongest and everything while we were all skinny fucks. If you look at him now he's almost the weak one. He's still strong but he's short as fuck and I'm talking about a basketball team here...

You probably don't play basket but my point is, you don't want to stay short all your life just to be a couple of years looking the strongest. I've started now at 15 almost 16 and that's still a bit early but I'm taking it easy, plus I've grown enough. I'm 1,92 m or so.
