Postby Myszon » Jun 8th, '10, 06:29

I mean, look at newest Wayne's album, or Eminem's newest songs.
they all sounds like this old good rap / Public Enemy, RUN DMC etc /
I mean, their songs sound kinda like from Rock Album, don't you guys think that?

It'll take more than Em and Wayne to take rap as a whole to a different place.

Whack artists still have a undeserved spotlight on them, unfortunately. And it's all about pawning them out.

yeee I know, but those new Em's songs, hmm well, beats, sounds kinda like those made by run dmc or PE. I mean, guitars, drums etc.

in Wayne's album, and now in Recovery, there is much more drums then it was earlier.

What about Rebirth makes you think about hip hop's roots?
Em's new album doesn't sound old school at all either lmao.. I don't get this thread.

It'll always be changing, and eventually make its way back, and so forth...like fads, trends, and life in general. History always repeats itself :y:
