Refs Fucked Over The Packers

Now I'm not making excuses for their shitty defense but the refs didn't seem to want to make any calls in the OT.

On second down rodgers took a helmet to helmet hit with no penalty:

Then on the next play which is the fumble Rodgers gets face masked:

That's all I'm saying is that the refs messed up and that helps me live with the loss.

What about the offensive pass interference on Larry in the end zone? Not a Cardinals fan, so even if he didn't have that catch the refs didn't call the face mask by GB to Warner. Oh well shit happens.

Agreed with the Rodgers thing.QB calls usually get called, bc the league especially wants to ensure that they're protected. I heard an ESPN analyst say that had the QB been Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, those calls would have been made. And that the games this saturday and sunday won't have those missed QB calls bc all of them are high profile. Sad but true. And what was it with shovel passes last week? Both in the National Championship game and in this game, they get returned for touchdowns. That RARELY happens on those plays.

The face mask wasnt called on rodgers because the nfl made a rule saying accidental face masks is not a penalty. Same reason they didnt call the face mask when peterson fumbled against chicago.

But once again, Peterson didnt get a facemask call either in overtime versus the bears...so I dont feel so bad about it.

-Also- Even as the rule states, tugging and pulling will still count as a foul and I'll understand the argument that I know someone will make like, his face mask did get tugged a bit, but, he DID fumble before the facemask happened so, if they called it back the packers would have just gotten lucky. Thats all.

Same for peterson. The ball came out as his facemask was grabbed and actually, peterson was pulled to the left and it was clearly seen. They had a slow mo cam right on the penalty.....

Rodgers call could have reversed the Packers fate in either call that could have been made. Holding penalties, chop blocks, blocks in the back, etc. can all negate plays that were made before or during another play. GB fans were hollering since Aaron is a QB, and calls are usually made for QB's bc they're "the most important ones in football", and I've heard the toughest job in all sports. Aaron's a QB, QB's usually get all the calls, he didn't, GB fans were mad. If that was Tom Brady, the calls would probably have been made. End of story.

I didn't give 2 shits who won the game, and am not a fan of either team. I said before this game really didn't matter in the bigger playoff picture, but I would watch for entertainment purposes. But even in watching for that, I can call a fair game, right down the middle. And see where calls could be made. Even Ray Charles could have seen that.
