i think if artists in other genres have a fight they usually keep it off the songs
and theyll just bitch in interviews..or nowadays with clips on the internet, or like bar said they just fight it out face to face

but rap has always kinda been more about honer.. and standing up foryoself
thats why they battle..so in rap it actually works out cuz its more offa style
when u diss sumone u get the "buzz" and a beef will happen it gives both rappers more fame
where if 2 pop or country singers or sumthing would do that its seen as kinda pathetic and catty :/
