no one said you had to feel sorry...but it doesn't mean you have to be an insensitive asshole who couldn't give a shit. Yes it's fucked up that it happened but i'm not stopping my life to mourn about it, but at the same time, I do care about it, I feel sorry. I mean just seeing Peire Garcon (player on the colts)'s face when he was playing yesterday made think long and hard at what he's going thru and plenty of other families are going thru.

Natural disasters can't be avoided, but the poor infrastructure and economic condition in Haiti made the destruction/casualty rate worse than it should be :(.

On the other hand, I don't get why people who don't care about this issue would even bother coming into this thread, let alone making such insensitive comments :P. On the other hand, it's awesome how much the rest of the world is helping Haiti out. It's comforting to see that in times of disaster people are able to put aside their differences and just be helpful. Anyways I'd like to think (especially living in California) if anything bad happens near here, other countries will come to our aid as well :D.

All you saying you don't give a shit because it doesn't affect you or whatever, try putting yourself in their position Alot of them lost all their friends and family, and lots of them have no idea if their family is alive or not. It affects everybody from Haiti in some way, that's what makes me feel sad about it. Yeah, i'm not gonna be depressed over what happened to them, but I just can't imagine how much pain those people are going through. To lose your whole family, I can't even imagine that...

I know it's a huge motherfucking tragedy, but it just doesn't effect me at all, so that's why I'm indifferent to it.
It's nature, there's nothing you can do about it, you know?

But when shit like WTC happen, I feel really sad because that shit ain't natural whatsoever.

Don't hate.

Same. Fucking country should have made a minute of progress too after all this time. Only 1 hospital and hardly any way to help ur own sovereign state besides begging others for help gtfo.
