I think it's great. I got it years ago with a stand, pop filter, headphones, and mic cradle in a podcast pack off of ebay. It hasn't caused me any problems, and I think it comes out very clear. I'm not sure how old the other mics you mentioned are, but I know this one is about 4 or so years old, if not older. I'm just saying that because the newer ones might sound better or have different components to them that didn't exist 4 years ago. I could be wrong though. In the end, I'd recommend it. I believe Killa used it too, but I'm not 100% positive.
